I have a 1997 GTX which has 4 grey fuel lines coming off the top of the gas tank. I've read where you guys say to replace the grey fuel lines.

1.) How much are the new fuel lines?

2.) Is replacing them something easy enough to do myself?

3.) Any thing special I need to know before I start?

1) measure the fuel lines to get a good measurement of what you need. Go to Auto Zone with a sample of the line...tell them You need fuel line. Ask them how much...its cheap, it might cost guessing like $ .25 a foot.Replace any bad or cut off clamps too. Use stainless ones also.
2)Yes, replacing them is s easy as cutting of the clamps that won't unscrew with cutting pliers. Reinstalling each fuel line separately one at a time so you don't get them mixed up. Tighten the clamps when done.
3) tools?...maybe a screw driver to loosen and tighten the clamps and cutting pliers for the old clamps.

Take your time and give us a shout if you get stuck. Remember to replace one for one so you won't get confused which one is which.
