Heat gun, then any adhesive remover. I like aircraft adhesive remover the best, but acetone, goo gone anything really

Thanks, heat gun worked. What is the official name for this, its got a crack and I'd like to find a new one

Good luck finding the originals. They make a new one that says brp and is slightly different. I think it was JSG that had a bag of them a while ago

96 XP800!
Keep the 2 strokes alive!

i see the new style that say BRP on ebay, Is $20 a fair price for that, seems like a lot for a quarter sized decal. Are they bigger that the originals.

They are available from the dealer for $16.99 retail. You have to watch ebay now as there are a lot of idiots selling parts for more than the dealers charge.

Do you want the same one that came on your ski? If so that is 291000325 and you'll have to find one on Ebay. No Longer Available. It's about 38mm in diameter

Or do you want the other one that is NLA and hard to find? Part# 291000325 It's about 48mm in diameter

Or do you want the latest style? Part# 516000282 It's about 48mm in diameter

I've also been searching for all the decals, are they as hard to find? I see a couple of the warning decals on ebay but nothing else.

Good luck! They are hard to find. It took me a couple months to find a whole set for the 99spx. I found every one except the one around the dash/dess post area. When you see them you have to buy them right away. If you wait they will be gone

Someone on here does reproduction ones right? Problem is all mine were trashed, the PO started taking them off and gave up, i pulled the left over pieces and threw them away, so i've got nothing to trace for samples.

I have a 96 gtx that has good graphics I can trace. It would take some time and right now the guy that does them is backed up anyway.

Not at all. My oem ones would have been ruined and then i would have paid for them to be ruined just to buy replica ones.
I can trace mine and send in a ton of pictures. Plus he already has replica 99s

Yeah I seen his replica 99s, not the same level of detail as the 96ones you sent or the 95s that racer did.

Didn't you sell that 99?

Thanks Jsg. I'm no hurry really, I still need to strip down the hull to paint. I don't want all the decals either just the gtx one below the seat, the front one I don't like, and the big Seadoo I have seen on eBay in different colors

My spx is still for sale,we turned down $2500 for it but now this spring we will put it up for $3000 and take the 1st $2500. We almost have that in to it. Now that I am into a 98 xp I just want to break even. We just get so emotionaly involved that we want to keep them all

Mike can remove the top layer and reapply a new one so you could reuse them. That's what he was going to do with the nos 95 decals I sent him, unfortunately........the top layer was stuck to the decal, he was still going to try to remove it completely I think.
