Refueling question from new boat owner

Just bought my very first boat last week. First launch, cruise and docking went excellent this weekend. Had to cut the trip short because I didn't realize how much gas the boat used (hours per gallon, etc...). How do you find fueling locations while on your boat? I live in Florida and only use the boat on the Intracoastal (Indian River) and I know there are marinas all over the place but how do I locate someplace to get gas if I'm running low? I picked up a boating map and according to the map the nearest gas location is over 30 miles away. I've heard other people mention that there's gas like every 5 miles or so along the intracoastal but I have no idea where to find them and don't want to use an entire tank of gas trolling up and down the shoreline looking for gas. Is there a website I can go to which lists (preferrably with a map) all of the locations along the Intracoastal that I can pull into for gas?

A Garmin GPS with the proper map for your location will show you every fuel stop in front of and in back of you, invaluable tool when you're running the IC as it also has all the channel markings and speed restriction zones in it.

I used to boat quite a bit on the Indian and tributaries and when you get caught way out in a pop up storm it's nice to have that Garmin guiding you back to the ramp and you'll know where you are and how long you have to go to get there.
It will also have all the maps in it for the Cape and Cocoa Beach etc. if you want to get out a little further.
