So redid super charger this fall. Took out for test on lake end of May and we well so felt good and did upgrades of traction mats, speakers etc.

today go to take family out for first time on River and port engine sounded a little funny - get past no wake and port engine won’t get past 3 000 rpm. Try a few things - on off but no change. Next thing I see all of the coolant is gone on port side so shut it all down….

where do I even start as didn’t see any in bilge- oil on dip stick looks as fresh as the change from fall…

what a stressful start to the season here on the Merrimack:( :( :(

If the coolant is gone,,,it could be a hose clamp is loose..to find the leak quicker ,,,fill the cainister to the right fill mark,,,have super bright flash,ight...,,,put a pressure tester on the fill cap....also check,,,that the ride late is not cracked and thus leaking,,,the hoses to the ride plate have those stupid "spring" clamps...

Twin engine boats use seperate heat exchangers, rather than the ride plate for cooling. If the hoses were leaking it would leak into bilge. But, if the heat exchanger itself was cracked it could leak to the sea.

Thanks for getting back - hopefully I can track it down as love this boat but did not like the supercharger change!!!!

I am not seeing it in the bilge - took it out and tested in mid may…how do I check heat exchanger?

With the boat on the trailer you can run each engine for a couple of minutes. Look underneath in the stern for the rectangular metallic plates on the hull. They get warm when the engine runs. Look for leaks, there should be none. The port engine is connected the port heat exchanger plate.
