I want to thank... Coastie Joe, Lou Doo, El Toro, Ocod, Sea Doo Buddy and IDoSeaDoo. You fellas have been my sanity after my 1996 GTI purchase. It has been one headache after another beginning on the evening of my first launch (after a perfect test drive). I realize there will be problems from time to time with any Sea Doo. I didnt expect immeidate problems after paying top dollar for my Doo. I was maticulous and waited for a nice one.

So, I wanted to update the fellas who have been so awsome on this site. And, Lou Doo "seeing is believing" so the jury is still out until I launch this baby myself on August 9th. Your neck of the woods is not far away. So, I may be looking you up for hire. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

History:

July 13th, 2013: Saturday I launch Sea Doo and it immediately does the same things bogs down, engine runs.
July 13th, 2013: Saturday I take Sea Doo back to PWC Shop
July 26th, 2013: Friday: Pick Sea Doo Up/ $661.00 Wear Ring is Problem. I replace it and opt to replace damaged Impellor and Housing Unit
July 26th, 2013: Friday: I launch Sea Doo and it immediately bogs down with a new problem of taking on lots of water
July 27th, 2013: Saturday: at Shop when they open :boxing_smiley: I'm nice but at the end of my rope with new problem.

Possible good news today July 31st, 2013: Wednesday: Sea Doo is Fixed? Shop mechanic rode it for 45 minutes saying it ran like a perfect Sea Doo. Diagnosis.... Whomever (no clue) put the new engine in did not align it properly. This was causing constant pressure on the drive shaft which was causing the extra pressure on the wear ring. This was also causing some deterioration to the Housing Unit and Impellor. They alligned the engine, fixed the Seal/ accordian piece on the drive shaft that was not put back in place the last time it was in the shop. They also said there was a bolt/screw under the back of the impellor area where a small vent is located. A bolt/screw was missing on this vent and also needed to be sealed to prevent water from coming in.

Seeing is believing. We did not talk money. So, I have no clue how much my 3rd pick up will cost. I am praying at this point hoping my Sea Doo is indeed fixed. I hope to be posting smiley faces and a very short sentence after my pick up. AND THE GUYS AT THE SHOP COULDN'T BE ANY NICER/LOL

Sorry so long... I had to lay the background for any other newbies. THANK TO EVERYONE...
