G'day,
I have just got the gear together to do a complete rebuild and was trying to think of anything else i could do while its appart.
Have got carbie kits(already done), pump kits, impellers, wear rings, motors, oil block off kits, gaskets, will do fuel baffle fix(gauge), dual batteries going in, "STEREO", anything else?

Thanks for any help, please throw your 2 bobs in!!!!!!!:hurray:

Sounds like you got it under control...what about a cold drink holder? Replace all the fuel lines and clamps too if needed, while it's apart.

Good idea on all the fuel clamps, the original's are a pain in the butt:ack:!!
I was thinking of replacing oil lines, to make them longer so it's easier to remove and install motor's. Are the clear plastic oil lines just normal plastic or are they special to deal with the oil.

When I set my motor back . I took all the lines, cables, exhaust, and hoses and "dressed" the motor. I made the connections at the oil tank, battery, the electrical box, the water box, ect ect. I work in a automobile assembly plant, and thats what we do, drop a complete motor in and do all the hook ups in the easy spots instead of trying to work around the motor. Just a suggestion. Good Luck!
