Hello,

Hope I am not going to screw this post because I have never attached a video before and this is supposed to be a troubleshooting thread... But this is a 2-stroke engine...

Living almost full time close to the water has great advantages: when your work day is done, you can haul **s to you Sea-Doo!

Since we are close to the end of the season, I thought it would be cool to start this R&R thread after so many efforts working on our 2-strokes engines all summer. Mine is not completely fixed but at least, it's working. It was a stressful summer because of it and my wallet was drained big time. Time for some payback! I am including a couple videos of today's ride to show you my place and I invite you to do the same. It was a beautiful (but a bit cool) day but the water temp is still above 70 degrees (F).

OK, here I go trying to link my videos from my youtube account...

P.S. Waiting for my new carb.

Awesome idea. In my free time I like making gopro edits. I've been doing it for about five years now. Here's my video with my GTX and my speedster that I just resurrected from a friends backyard, where it sat for 7 years prior to this year.

Phewww, no one got hurt. For our US friends and around the world, we have plenty of lakes in Quebec province (like close a thousand). I was on the lake today and temp was 80 degrees (supposed to be 65 at this time of year). Water temp was 73! Outstanding. And it looks promising for the next three days. I am posting some more stuff from today! Keep coming the cool videos and photos.

Usually I have my dog with me on the Sea-Doo (look at my avatar) but it got hurt to a leg: it fell off my ATV six weeks ago and is going to surgery tomorrow. Hopefully, he will be riding along with me next on my Sea-Doo (he is 22 pounds and he rides in front of me, sort of a captain!).

This is our 1.5 miles long beach! The lake is 12 miles long by 1.5 mile large at its largest. If you want to go around it, it is 55 miles. Pure water; you can drink it. There is a one mile long island and mountain on it. And on the top of the mountain on the island, there is a tiny lake with snapping turtles. It is the local attraction... In winter, it becomes frozen solid with three to four feet of ice (then you ride it on snowmobile or ATV).

This is me with my ride (when it works...)... And yes, I am not a young guy anymore... Actually my dog is way more popular than me on the Sea-Doo...

Keep them coming! My part is done!

Two short clips from me. Shot more as a road trip movie than anything else.

Created using Roadmovies app by Honda on an iPhone 5.

Hello Benji, So glad you have a new carb on it's way. I hope that fixes things for you.

Today was the perfect day! Spent six hours away from home (my IT clients were quiet today!). It was awesome, a couple more days like that and it will be over I am afraid. As for my carb, it is on its way here: started its trip in Mansfield OH and it is now somewhere in Montreal QC. Should get it tomorrow or Friday.

I really think that most of my issue is with carb because I can find nothing wrong with the engine so far. It just rocks!

Please more pics and videos from you part of the world.

I took my ski out of the water today, drained and dried it completely and covered it with a waterproof tarp (on top of my regular cover) so that it doesn't get water in for the weeks to come. It may very well have been my last ride of this year. Maybe if I am lucky, I will be able to ride it again one more time. I have yet to winterize it but I am waiting a few more weeks just in case...

About this thread, I was left a bit on my appetite... I would love to see your riding places and now that my ski is working great, I will definitely go on Lake Champlain NY next year.

Benji.
