I kept blowing 15a charging fuse. Tested rectifier it is good. so I took apart magneto and my stator is all chewed up looking. I was going to replace stator and the trigger coil. But was wondering if the charging coil on the armateur plate ever goes bad. It doesnt look real fun to replace but since i have this all torn apart was considering maybe replacing. Anyone have any advice?

I had a bad stator after my exhuast started leaking straight through the magneto plug that was loose in the front cover of the motor.
This was the damage, i replaced the stator and pick-up and cleaned the rest, all has been good!!!:hurray:
