Built a PVC PWC stand for my seadoo yesterday. very simple and affordable (60 dollars at home depot which included glue and primer) very, very sturdy and simple to make. holds my ski with no problems. didnt really need the wheels since i would not be moving the stand around.

Looks great. Another member built a similar one a while back.

Probably a stupid question..... but do you just have a few people lift it on and off the trailer on to your stand when taking it on or off, or do you use your winch on the trailer? Sorry to sound confused , but I am:rofl:

my dad and i put the ski on the stand ourselfs and to put it back on the trailer two people would be able to get it close enough to the trailer that you could winch it to the stoppers when you were putting it back

I think you just saved me 200 bucks, thanks for the idea. Great project..

used 3in PVC for the whole thing except for the joints that connect the two sides which i used 1 1/2 inch piping. (using the 3in was getting expensive and the smaller diameter stuff worked just as well)

great little stands ..i have made a few of these

not a great idea to put big three seat 4tecs on though.....

Castors...

Yeah, he had basically the same design but had attached castor wheels to the bottom so he could roll it around. I wish I could put mine in my shop but with my two car garage as my escape into my workshop, it would be in my way unless it was being worked on.........

I put mine on a couple car tires lol.....the other just stays on the trailer....but nice job making the stand! looks legit! would be really nice with locking caster wheels

it would be, but i was looking to keep cost low, since the ski is for sale and i really didnt need a rolling cart. but i could always still make this stand a rolling one in the future if i change my mind

Very cool and I am all about low cost! Do you think it would hold my 96 GTX? I dont believe it is much heavier than the one shown. Great post!

im sure it would, the stand felt very sturdy and i had 3 200lb people sit on it while it was on the stand and nothing happened.
