Pump install

I’m having a hard time installing the pump housing back to the hull. Any tricks? 96 Seadoo speedster. Seems like it should be easy but those four bolts are giving me hell

Mine was very tight but nothing to write about.
What about those 4 bolts? Whats going on?

When I go to put the pump on the bolts, I think the jet drive isn't in line with the splines on the pump. Do I just twist the jet drive until it fits?

Yes,grease the splines and it should go in after som wiggleing. Was it difficult to get of? In that case maybe you have to realign the motor
