proper oil for 04 gti

Well, those other people are only giving you their opinons. That's fair to say.
The manual so states that you should be using the XP-S synthetic oil or equavilent..........the equivilent?
I use the Quick Silver brand of full synthetic that is offered at Wal Mart. I don't have a large wallet and the nearest Seadoo dealership is about an hour and half away.
If you have no idea what kind of oil you have now, I'd drain all the oil from the tank and reservior and refill with the Quick Silver.
The oil requriments are listed as a "NON - NMMA" or "non - TCW-3" type oil.
When picking this oil up, make sure you read the bottle (I buy by the gallon). On the back, it so states that it is usuable with the Rotax, Seadoo engines. Also, you won't find this in the boat section, it's in the automotive section oil area..............:cheers:
