Ok so I have a 95 speedster. The problem is i'm not getting power. RPM's wont go past 4,000 and the right side motor RPM bounce. The only thing that has been done since last taking the boat out is a wear ring and I filled the gas tank up. I did over fill the gas tank i dont know if that has anything to do with it. I only had the boat out for about 5 minutes today. I took it out went to drive away and realized that I wasnt getting power so I turned around and put it back on the trailer. Does anyone know what I should do or is it as simple as me over filling the tanks?

There's not a lot of information that you have given us. The first thing to do is check the compression.

Does your boat still have the grey tempo fuel lines?

I don't think overfilling the gas tank has anything to do with your problem.

I believe it does. I just bought the boat July 3rd. The boat ran perfect last weekend except for the wear ring which I got replaced this week. Put it back into the water and this was the problem. RPM on right motor would bounce and the left motor was fine. Didn't have power in either motor when putting throttle down. Both engines started just fine and sound good.

As stated above. The overfilling of the fuel tank won't have an effect on the engines like your stating. But on the other hand if you think it does. Great. Your only asking for our opinions. And really what do we know right.

Well if you're convinced that's the problem drain and half gallon of gas and try. I don't understand why you are asking the question???

went and got in the engine bay today and seen that both batteries were out of their trays and very loose on the terminals. I haven't got a chance to take the boat on the lake yet to see if that was the problem, but I would guess that woudlnt help anything at all.

And I was talking about I believe it has the grey lines not that the fuel being overfilled has anything to do with it. sorry for the confusion

would that battery thing be a problem that would cause something like that? I'm cautious on taking the boat on the lake and that not being the problem
