Pro Tips for Haggling with Dealers at the Boat Show???

Happy New Year All!

The Cleveland boat show is coming up in mid-January & I'm looking to pay cash for a new 2025 GTI SE 170 with the Tech Package, audio, iDF, & iBR. My previous purchase experience was in early September 2014 for a brand new GTI SE 130. At that time, that model was running at $9,999 MSRP. Because the dealership wanted to move the PWCs from their inventory, I managed to get the PWC, single slot trailer, PWC cover, essentials kit, tax, title, & out the door for $10K. That was my first PWC so I was merely "happy to be on the game show". Looking to add to my collection (hubby got his boating license this past summer), so I've had my eye on the 2025 GTI SE 170.

My question....For the boat show, what would one consider a "steal" (dollar wise) knowing that I will be paying cash, need to trade in my single slot trailer for a double, along with two nice to haves of deferred delivery until April/May 2025 & any goodies (e.g., cover, essentials kit, etc.). MRSP for the 2025 GTI SE 170 is $14,299 online (without any goodies or title fee).

Is the Cleveland boat show the best time (before the upcoming season) to get a "steal"?

The timing is different from my 2014 purchase & there are other factors such that I am interested in this specific model & year. Is the above even feasible for the Cleveland boat show knowing that not many authorized Sea-Doo dealerships will be present (J & J Sales and Johnny K's Powersports are the only two authorized Sea-Doo dealers listed as exhibitors if I'm not mistaken)?

Thanks in advance!
