My 4 bolt holding the reverse gate bracket to the pump SHOULD have been removed and greased.Salt water welded the whole shabang together .Have you serviced your pump? All the grease gets pushed to the cone!
I'm going to oil.

I recommend changing oil and filter in fall during winterizing. Or assuming you live in Tierra Del Fuego.then spring. I don't see any value in leaving the acid soup to set in the oil pan over winter to corrode the engine and bearings from the inside out.

I don't know, does the 4-tec have a grease zert on the drive shaft splines? If yes I'd give that a shot or two of grease as per the owners manual periodic service recommendation.

Anyone have a procedure on greasing/lubing the steering and throttle cables?

just grease and check the pump end of both cables, there is a rubber grommet seal to check as well.
the steering cable helm end use an anti-seize on the inner cable.

Don't forget to grease the trailer wheel bearings annually. Being submerged, sitting idle, then spinning along at 60 MPH takes a toll... it could leave you sitting on the side of some highway instead of in the middle of the lake.
