Took '97 Challenger out and it ran fine. Flushed motors as always and now the port engine will not start. Spins over fine. Put in new plugs, nothing. Does not even seem to try to fire.
Except for the oil in cylinders problem, the boat has always ran fine.
What would be some simple things I might try.
Carb rebuilds would be nice but over my head, besides boat has ran so well until now.
Also note that right before it quit starting, it died while running. Then it started up and ran for 4-5 secs. It did this three times. Now won't start at all.

Would the other engine run fine if it was fuel delivery problem, or is each engine feed from different fuel pump???
I have seen other post about cutting wire back. How do you do that without destroying wire end.

Also, where are all the fuel filters at that everybody talks about replacing.
Where is best place to buy them because I'm sure mine are original.

To trim the plug ends, you remove the cap, that goes over the spark plug first, then trim the end, and re-install the end cap, onto the plug wire.

Have you tried switching the port and starboard engines? I think the PORT engine would start then!

Yeah but at least that would get it running for now.........

Really I thought you were talking about switching some wires or something.

Where are the coils for these things???
