Poor throttle response and performance

I have searched and talked to the guys at PWCMuscle and still haven’t tracked down the culprit.
2012 Wake Pro 215 run in sport mode and lacks performance, only revs to near 6000rpm range unless you unload the motor and then it will keep the rpm up to the 8000 mark until you back off the throttle. Then the issue reoccurs.
Rebuilt sc, checked hoses for leaks, fresh oil on the marks, second set of plugs and fresh gas

Well after some research I am thinking that there could be a possibility that the intercooler may be leaking. Going to try to check it this weekend, any suggestions for the best /easiest way to check. I am thinking about unhooking the hose going to the intake and running the ski on the hose to see if water comes out the ic hose.

double check the carbon seal on drive shaft make sure the bellow didnt fall off.. very simple fix that can cause lack of throttle responsse and low rpms because of air/water leaking through

Rusty plugs would be one sign, you can pressure test the intercooler by removing the two water supply hoses and close one and put a gauge and pressure on the other. Use not more than 20 lbs air pressure.

Still haven’t tracked down the issue. Looking to pull the intercooler, does anyone have any knowledge on removing this. It appears to disconnect from the front. Also what is the best way to pressure test.

Pulled the big clamp off of the front of the intercooler and removed the 2 hoses connected to it. Pulled the intercooler out of the front of the intake, pretty simple process and noticed some water laying inside the intake. Pressure tested the intercooler and found it is leaking, now where is the best place to get a new one. SeaDoo warehouse has it for $330.

Change the oil, plugs , intercooler and hope for the best, usually the valves are damaged after water gets in. Make sure you winterize or store it properly by disconnecting the hoses and blow it out with compressed air.

Got a chance this weekend to try out the new intercooler from SeaDoo Warehouse. Problem solved. Would like to thank them for the great price and PWC Muscle for the supercharger service. Also a big shoutout to Riva for their tech line. They were the one to track down the problem and never pushed me to use their products or services. I will remember that in the future and pay them back.

I have two identical 2003 SC 4-tec GTXs with same hours on both (approx. 95) and I appear to have a similar problem with one of them. Tops out at 6400 rpms at around 50mph. The other one will do 7800 and top out around 65mph. Just took them both out yesterday and the problem ski showed the same issues only now it's sounding a long beep and all the gauges go blank. After a few minutes, the gauges will come back on and all appears to be working fine until it happens again then all gauges go blank. Happened dozens of times during the 3 hour outing. Was able to run at full throttle (6400 rpms at 50mph) numerous times without consequence.

Any idea(s) what could be causing this problem? Thanks in advance.
