Plz read need help with 98 speedster

Ok my stearing nozzle broke order a new one and it smaller radius and 1inch longer my flap wont go down now the part number is 204120058 they said it was discontiuned and sent me 204120149 did they have some kind of problem with them nozzles and change half way through the year with them are what i need help either im gonna have to put one inch spacers behind my flaps and hope thats right are if someone knows where i can find the old nozzles i need thanks plz help

I have a standard 140mm pump steering nozzel, aluminum, flat blade at 3'oclock. You would have to tig weld a stainless bolt for the steering link rod.
