There should ba a clamp on ether side of the rubber boot. If not you might want to put on on to keep it from sliding off.

I guess my heading speaks for itself.
So since I dropped off my ski at the mechanic, and we agreed that he will replace the computer and I will pay for it, but he will eat the cost on the labor to fix everything else that might have been damaged. He said I would have the ski last Friday. Called him last Thursday and one of the other mechanic said there is no way my ski would be ready because there where loading some skiis in a truck and the owner is leaving Friday, but the other one should return this past Tuesday.
Called Tuesday and got no answer. So I started putting 2 & 2 together. They have been load skiis in a trailer for 3 days last week. They were closed this weekend, and yesterday the voice message was change to blank.
Drove out there today and the warehouse looks abandoned. I think this guy took everyones skiis and bounce. I will have to go there tomorrow and ask the landlord if they moved. I am so steaming right now:rant::banghead:

If they are exporting the SKIIS do they need to have the title? Cause he had about 30 + in the shop and I am ASSUMING thats why it took so long to load and preventing them from working on any skiis last week.

What a relief

Good News!!!! :hurray:
Apparently the two owners decided to open another location and that was the reason for loading the skiis on the trailer. Finally got a hold of the one that was on vacation and he said he has a lot of catching up to do so to give him until tomorrow. So I will keep you guys posted.

Hallandale is close to Hollywood FL. Thats south FL. Still waiting on them to put in the computer. Hopefully I get to ride this weekend:cheers:

I go to holver beach.. I think thats hallandle beach.. Thats where i go ride jet ski.. Better then south beach.. You get more waves there and you also have a sand bar with a food boat to get something to eat while youre out there. awesome place to ride jet ski. Also have little island to relax and chill.

Lmao... Naw i seen hot chicks out there.. Well around the sand bar.. On boats and stuff.. You see more chicks there then south beach.. Ever since they closed down the pier... South beach is worthless..

I heard the same thing...here in Englewood, it's a retired community, but we get some hot chicks. The gray haired ones are scary!

Ya ya.. You know the gray haired ones are pretty hot:reddevil:... those are the ones you take on your boat :ack:

Laze, that where I go to ride. Hallover.
Still waiting to get my ski back. This guy is trying to charge me 1K for the job. I told him he is luck I agreed to pay for the parts cause its his fault. Tomorrow I am having a conference call with both owners to come to an agreement.
I am so mad right now even to pay $450 for the new computer and 80 for the switch.

GRRRR

Finally

Would you believe he charged me $811 and still didnt take the ski out to test it. He wants to charge me $75 to test ride it. If anyone in the Miami area knows a reasonable mechanic incase I need one in the future. This guy is good but he is sloppy IMO.
While i was there someone complain about the return hose coming loose and causing damage to the ski. they apparently did not put any clamps on it.

Well I have the old computer, so I am going to see if I can sell it to get back some cash. The pin that is supposedly missing is the one for the switch and the gauge.

I am going to by a 97 GSX this weekend for $1000, that is allegedly in working condition. The seller was int he process of repainting it and his selling because he his relocating. How can I tell if the title actual matches the ski?

The serial number plate on the ski should match the serial number (VIN) on the title to the last number.

The number on the ski will be on the rear portion of the hull. Depending on year it is embossed in the hull itself or could be on a black plate riveted to the hull.
