I'd like to share to pics that were shot in Galveston Texas. The waves were coming in at 4-5 feet in perfect rolling sets. I have a bunch more that I have to dig out.

I'm on the 96 XP
My brother David is "stepping off" a Raider 1100

Please include some shots' if you have some

Wow thats some impressive air there. Good thread idea too!

Contributing to the delinquincy!!!

That looks like it was taken right off Surfside or Galveston. My folks live in Surfside, and that is where I do my beach riding. Never got THAT high though. Will have to try a little harder:cheers:

Air?

Just one question..........how much stuff did you break when that ski came down? As for you, did you break a leg or anything?
I'd have peed my pants if that happened to me!...............

Awsome air time....I 'll have to get some shots of my 2oo speedster airborn...I LIVE TO FLY.

How I got hooked...

First rode jet skis in or around 96, a friend had a 96 XP (what a coincidence:D) and another one that looked just like it but a little longer, that we could put 2 people on or one guy and 2 girls:reddevil:

We were at Possum Kingdom up near Fort Worth. The water was deep and were jumping wakes behind big ocean-going yachts. Some of us were getting almost as high as those in the first pictures.

Been searching the past 10 years to find a jet ski and relive those days!

Now I will try to get pictures from now on.

I love surfside! Those pictures were actually taken closer to Galveston. Two entrances from the old "8 mile road" beach.

SDsnipe, luckily the only thing that I have ever broken is a vts steering nozzle. The trick to mad air is obviously to jump in deep water and never land flat... well 1 out of 2 didn't work. I jumped to shallow and drove the pump nozzle into the ocean floor.

The 96 XP has an awesome spoon shaped hull that coupled with its light weight makes it an easy space shuttle.

A guy at the dealership whipped out a stack of shots of his WaveBlaster. I like hearing the horror stories of broken heads & hulls! Thought this might be a decent camp fire thread

Pic of a little air, without waves.

The ski just launches this way, straight out of the water...

I will try to get some better jump pics when I go out next to the beach.

Well, I got the beach house all next week...

...I will try to get some shots near the Surfside Jetty. I have been doing lots of jumping, just never have a camera or camera-person handy when I do it.

Since we will be at the beach all week, I will try to have the wife snag a couple shots:cheers:
