"The Creature" as I call it. I went all out and bought a (new) front bumper and windshield for it, that and a roll of Duct Tape for that custom seat cover.

Nice. Unfortunately they are closing our nuclear plant here in a few years. Environmentalists finally won against reason.

I think we put the only coal plant(s) online in the whole USA up here. One in Fairbanks at the university, the other in Healy about 100 miles south.

I just got this tractor running last fall. It was sitting in my father in law's barn since the early 80's unable to roll. It was my wife's grandfather's tractor. The transmission and ring/pinion were rusted solid.I had to hunt down the parts and rebuild it.I have been driving it around for fun.

I've got two snowchines as well. Upstate NY.

I am a die hard Polaris guy but their watercrafts suck. Lol. I have a Polaris edge 600 xcsp and my girlfriend has a ski doo mxz 700. Fun toys for sure.

My last winter project. 2011 clean title - vandalized interior/exterior, backed into a forklift, drivetrain sold off. Tweaked the rear rails back into place and full swapped EVERYTHING but the front end from a wrecked 2014. Still needs paint, but I'm a bit of a redneck and kind of like driving it as is. All I see from the driver's seat is 425HP, even with the top down.

A few more build pics at link

So I have a wide range of hobbies... From my farm to table... ie* my cows and yes I name them...for instance one is named Tbone.. the other hamburger catch my drift??... to my horses... my mustang.. I no longer have because of a house fire ie* life sucks/happens. I am constantly busy with the farm. From fixing tractors to fixing fences. So that's the biggest reason my projects like the one off boat I'm building might take a while for me to finish. Ill do a bunch of work on it in the winter time.

Fishing is my biggest passion since I was a a little kid. I remember me and my brother used to tie fishing lines to the sticks we found in our garden and go to the lake together. We actually catched one or two little carbs :) Well, soon I am going to buy an apartment in Montenegro by the lake and since now I am retired I can spend more time fishing. I feel like life has just begun :D

Very cool. I have done a few tractors myself. I'm a Ford 8N/9N aficionado. :) I like working on old stuff... it isn't complicated at all and it usually has plenty of BEEF as in STRONG !! I'd like to do an old tractor with Iron Wheels. LOL I'd drive that bitch too even on the road. :D

Amen... that's true. You do what you want when you want most of the time and even it is is work it's your choice. Congratulations on living your passion !!

Lot of good hobbies listed. I found having a full time job takes away from my free time and limits my hobby time.

With a family (wife and 3 daughters) we purchased a new 2015 gti se, 1 season proved we were under boated and purchased 2 more skis.

Love the outdoors and offloading (3 jeep cjs- one for each kid, at least that's what I told wife), currently they are used mostly to get to Tahoe during storms for snow skiing.

Being in CA the politically incorrect hobby of hunting and target shooting (kids also target shoot). Anyone need a hunting partner please call....

I think we should have a help group for people that retire and are bored. LOL I know guys that have lots of money but went back to work (one after only 3 months) because they were bored. They just ain't hangin with the right people. :D

Just found this thread, very cool. Me, I've got a 15 Ranger 900 that I use around the property and an old 89 pontoon with a 30hp Merc for cruising the lake. I am fortunate enough to be retired young'ish, and to be able to live year round in cottage country on a beautiful lake. I love working on my property, and like to do a little wood-working. Below is some stone steps I put in a while back. Best part is all the stones I found on my property and I did the steps by myself with just the ranger, a jack, some logs and a now pretty bent pry bar.

Speaking of hobbies. The leaves are yellow, geese are almost all gone south and the water is getting too cold for jeans. Almost time to put the XP away and fire up the Creature for another winter.

I had to try another experiment. I drilled another hole roughly half an inch in front of the stock hole on the trim ring arm. A little cable adjustment on the trim cable to get full travel, enough down to keep from porpoising and enough extra up angle to ride the tail all day. I wish I had some big waves to hit, the nose jumps up so fast I think I could back flip this thing.

Looks like you just beat the SPark Trixx for thousands less.Great job!

Trimming that nozzle up more really woke the "playability" up.

Two problems though.

One, I spent so much time spinning and diving under that the hull filled up pretty fast so I am looking at the idea of blocking off the seat intakes and using the mirror pods as the intake, I'll just loose the cargo area.

Two, the water was about 43F so I'm getting a wet suit, my teenage one just doesn't fit anymore, and I'm going to reroute the "pisser" from the back into the bars and set up a small line with a hose barb up the sleeve and into the core area. Pump warm water right into the suit. It was a beautiful day, but cool, and once the early signs of hypothermia kick in I get off the water.

The standup freestyle guys do the hand warmers all the time, just make sure it's not too hot.

Red Dragon that is some good ole all American stuff right there! Thanks for sharing.

Dadasaurus that is a very impressive feat! Teach me the retire early trick before the rock step skills though lol.

Got the wet suit, neoprene boots and good gloves. Spent 45 minutes on the water, 37F air, 40.2F water. Was wet the whole time and only had the hands start getting cold. I might have to dig out a set of hand warmers and wire them in.
