Opinions on changing choke to primer bulbs to assist in hard starting

Positively the rave housing, on each exhaust port. There is a ton of play/movement on rave valve with each of the housings that keep melting the rave caps. I took one of the rave valves housings off the other engine (it doesn't burn up caps) and there is very little to no play. So i think basically exhaust gasses are getting through the worn out housing and burning up my caps.

On a side note: its a good thing that I use the blower when starting. As I was essentially dumping fuel vapours into my engine bay as a result of the leaking cap ....
