oil rag left in my 95 speedster! Right engine dead?

I bought my skidoo drove it for a hour. The right engine was only getting 4 rpms when it died and then it would not even turn over. I think it just might be a fuse fort the starter. The engine its self was covered in mashed oil rag one of those terry white cotton rags. It was all up in the part where it spins the turbine. It looked like mashed potato every where. I cleaned out the air filter does anybody have suggestions what to do before I start it up. I dont think it could have made it into the engine but it was pretty mushy.

You might want to completely remove the air box in order to make sure there is nothing caught up in the throttle or choke linkage. The other thing I would be concerned about would be the drive shaft carbon seal damage and now leaking. Leave the gray PTO cover off the back of the engine and take the boat out for a short spin. Check this area for any water leaks.
