oil light

I took my oil pump off my 95gtx and am mixing my oil with the gas when on my test ride I noticed that the oil light came on intremittedly does anyone know how to correct this ?

How full did you leave the oil reservoir?

about half full is the sensor in the oil reserve ?or ??

Ya, it is an oil level sensor that illuminates that light. It sits on top of the oil tank. They seem to start indicating low levels around half. Try to fill it to 3/4 or so. You still have it hooked to the crankcase line right?? It still needs to circulate to lube the cb gears and rotary valve gear, etc.

Yessir the oil lines are hooked up to lube the rotax valve or something like that =_)
