Hello All! I have searched around for a while and found a few posts but nothing with exactly what I was looking for so hopefully someone can help.

I recently purchased a 1997 seadoo with a 787. The oil injection has been removed as was the oil tank and fill. Would it be possible that there is just a line connecting the sides of the engine with oil in it for the valve? Is that even possible? Has anyone ever deleted the tank and all?

Hopefully someone can shed some light on the subject, that would be excellent. Thanks in advance.

Rotary shaft lubrication

Yes, I have heard where someone has removed the oil tank and just put stop lines on the casing for oil in the rotary shaft. That should not be done though. You should maintain the oil tank to make sure the rotary is supplied with a fresh supply of oil for proper lubrication and venting. If you remove the vent line going to the tank also, it won't vent properly.
