Noob with a 2002 GTX no start
Good day... well, not really. We have my brother in law's 2002 GTX on loan, was running fine last weekend. The "maint" display came on, so I assumed it needs it's maintenance. This weekend, it's a no start with a dead battery. It's possible it became this way when my son tried to flush it and cover it when they were done with it last weekend, he finally admitted to me it cranked slow and then quit cranking. I replaced the battery, seeing as how it was 2 years old, as it WAS cranking slow anyway. Now we have good crank but no start. It cranks normally, and at one point it 'hit' once, but now it just cranks. I have not checked to see if the plugs are fouled, is it possible it flooded during the slow crank episode he experienced? I'm an auto tech, know my way around most machinery, but this is out of my normal realm. Being a Sea-Doo idiot, where do I go from here? Thanks....
