im back again with yet another question. my 96 xp last year felt like it got something stuck in the impeller. what it does is in the water it will rev up and move very slow. maybe 5 mph. the impeller is clean i checked it but i havent had it out this year yet so i dont know if it still doing it. any ideas if it still does this what i need to check?

wear ring...

Check the clearance/gap, between the impellor and wearring,...eyeball it, or feeler gauge, if more than 1mm, replace it...
