1999 Challenger 1800. With DESS connected the hours meter is running but I get nothing when I depress the start buttons for either motor. Battery is fully charged. Horn and other accessories work fine. I looked at the fuses for the engine control and they looked good as well. Any suggestions?

More info. I was tightening my ground on my battery and my wrench hit the positive and created great sparks. I (unfortunately) had the knob turned to on. I now get nothing when the DESS is connected to the post when I push the start buttons. The motor timer is working as do all other accessories. What should I do?
