So I thought my carbs were bad cause I couldn't start my engine hot but today I've discovered it's a spark issue. Weak to know spark when it's hot. Sparks as I release ignition button. After thirty attempts it goes. Starts cold like it was brand new but if it sits for five minutes after even a short run the spark sucks. Any thoughts???

Oops it's a 1998 challenger 1800 twin 787s. Other engine is fine

Remove the spark plug boots and trim the spark plug wire. Replace the boots.

I believe the boots spin/thread off.

This is a common failure over time.
