No settings in menu!

I just bought a bran new 2018 Seadoo GTI Limited 155 and there is NO settings in the menu (can’t change clock, units or anything) I am using the master key and I have read the manual over and over. There is supposed to be a settings selection but there isn’t.. it just goes:

VTS,
Display,
Fuel Consumption.

Any tips?

Engine was OFF while you're trying to get to settings?

On my 2012, I follow these steps:
1. Press red start button
2. Place "key" on dess post
3. Press Mode button multiple times

Serious? I’ll try it out. Last time I tried to get in there with the engine off, the display would go out too quickly

"The settings function is only available when the engine is shut off. "
