no beeps

Hey guys

New to the site..... Looks like a lot of great info.

I have a 99 gsx limited.. Just ran the Ski 2 days ago and was fine.. Today no beeps at all.. Tried both diagnostic tests.. Still nothing.. Can anyone help????

does the ski do anything...start..etc. Maybe beeper went bad.

start check'n fuse...make sure battery is good.

i went down that road already.. Like i said i followed the steps in the manual for basic/advanced dess test.. I should be getting some kind of beeps with those tests and are getting nothing

if you got a main fuse out, then you wont get anything....just ask'n/check'n the basics, stud.

Hey how's it going,

got the same problem her with my 06 spertster 155hp, just pulled it out of the garage, had it winterized @ the dealer last year, battery ok, put the lanyard on and "no beeps", just abuzzing sound from the engine compartment and the speedo & tack go about half way & starts bouncing. Ran fine last year, how did you make out and can anyone help? thanks, Jake

Did you try cleaning the lanyard in soapy water?

no i didn't try that.. but even if the post was dirty the advanced dess test should still work.. cuz you do that with the lanyard unplugged
