newbie please help

hello every one, i have a 95 gts with a mikuni 44 sbn.I can fire up my jetki and it sounds qwesome until i put a load on it! then about half throttle in water the engine starts to hesitate and a slight screeching noise is heard from the engine what are the high and low settings for this carb.I am getting 120 psi in both cylinders could this be clogged jets or something else?please any help would be appreciated

It sounds like you need to remove the carburetors and clean them. If you're careful and don't tear or damage the diaphragms you won't need to buy a rebuild kit. Pay attention to the internal filters too. If you have gray fuel lines you need to replace them with black fuel lines available from auto parts stores like Auto Zone. Measure the length you need and bring a sample with you so you get the correct size. Replace one at a time so you don’t get them mixed up. If you need clamps replace them too. Use small stainless steel clamps also from the auto parts store.

The settings are as follows: High Speed screw(has a black cap on it) is set to "0" the Low Speed screw( has a pin through it) is set to 1 1/2 turns as a starting point. I hope this helps.
