Great deal came along, or so I hope.
So I've Jet skiing for close to 30 yrs now, have owned and still own plenty of PWC's, mostly Yamaha. I would normally inspect the sh!t out of a watercraft, but this was ahh.. an impulse buy due to the lil boat being so darn sexy. So, I just picked up a 1995 Speedster. The boat is really clean and has good compression in both engines. One engine runs great, the other (ports side has stripped spines, I think, starts and runs but makes a whining noise and has no thrust- as described by the p.o).
Boat cost me $1300.00. Description: VERY clean & garage kept until this year/season. (Sorry no pics right now, soon to follow).
Very nice condition trailer, Fresh water only, all gauges work, maybe a half dozen (surface only) stress cracks, 1 small tear in the interior , OEM SeaDoo cover, Anchor, Cooler, Amp with MP3 hook up, Engine bay is fairly clean, All decals have been removed, Keel is in AWESOME condition, everything (all levers and controls) shift and move just fine, no mat/turf in boat... don't know any more than that as I bought on land and haven't gone to the water due to the spiny/whinny noise emitting form the port engine. (I do know the person that sold it to me, so not too worried about the sale, but with that being said).....
Just double checking to make sure I didn't get taken on this cash deal. Oh yea, Clean titles and VIN on everything and I am the 3rd owner.
I have worked on my Yamahas for years, not to afraid of them or getting my hands dirty. But this engine is inside and I've never really dealt with BRP.
Any advice would be great. And can any one point me in the direction of an owners manual/service manual for download. Been searching with no luck.
Thanks in advance.
