I got a new to me 05 3D with very low use.
I want to do some modifications to make it faster, handle better and sound better.
I was wondering about milling the head for increased compression. I always run 91 octane. Is it worthwhile?
I typically ride on smooth water, is an intake grate worthwhile? If yes, which one (low cost)
Is there a ride plate that is recommended?
I have already purchased a Solas 10/16 very cheap, is this a noticeable improvement when installed? Bottom end, mid or topend?
How about sponsons? I'm interested in cheap sponsons that work.
Lastly, I'd like to actually hear the exhaust...I've seen a person use a straight piece of stainless pipe to replace all the tubes and resonators in the back. Is it worthwhile and safe?
