Hello everyone, this is my first post. I have been lurking for a while reading up on tons of threads prior to purchasing my 97 Speedster. I do need a bit of help though. Apparently one of the previous owners decided to go premix and in order to disable the oil injection system, they pinched off the line to the pump and removed the cable. Well, I have no idea where the carb end attaches, and how. I get the gist of how it attaches at the pump after searching through tons of pics, but none of them show how it attaches to the carb.

Also, does anyone have a pair of these cables? I just cannot see paying $40ish for a 6" cable....

Thanks!

If the pumps were run dry... I wouldn't try to re-use them. Basically... the suction, and lack of lube will cause them to eat themselves. So... it's going to be more than the $$ for the cables.

But, if you contact Minnetonka4me... he may have pumps and cables for you. (he sells used parts)

Thanks for the input. I will probably run premix for a while then replace the pumps this winter. The only reason I bought this boat was because it had two freshly rebuilt motors [~50 hours] from Full Bore. It has sat for the last year due to a broken port side throttle cable, which should be here today. Hoping to put it in the water this afternoon for a sea trial.
