racerxxx Moderator Moderator May 15, 2018 #2 Nice, but personally I would never charge my battery with it connect to the boat. I'm not willing to take the chance on frying an MPEM. Chance is probably low, but the cost is high. Clean install though

To2d Well-Known Member May 16, 2018 #3 Thank you! I like to make it as clean as I can. I agree about the charging on board. I tied it direct to the battery. I charge it with the main battery switch turned off only. Last edited: May 16, 2018

To2d Well-Known Member May 23, 2018 #6 I bought the terminals and cables from amazon. And added some 5/16th neoprene washers and stainless lock washers from home depot.
