I have a 1997 & 2001 Seadoo GTi. Both ran great the first time out but I've had nothing but problems since with the 01. The filter in the carb was clogged so I replaced all the fuel lines and bought a new carb. It worked ok for several trips to the lake but now it won't go over 5 MPH. It starts up and idles kind of ruff but has no power. I've tried new plugs, bypassed the fuel selector switch and checked the filter in the new carb to no avail. I then tried using the 97 to help me troubleshoot by swapping parts. First the carb, followed by the MPEM and last the ignition coil and all plug wires. Every time the 97 ran great with the parts from the 01 and there was no difference with the 01. I've also checked the impeller for obstruction and there is nothing there. Any ideas?

Double check your fuel lines and be sure one is'nt hooked up wrong . I had the same problem after replacing lines and took me weeks to figure out it was my oen fault...

Thanks, I'll re check all the fuel lines and I should probably do a compression test as well. I just realized I should have started this thread in the 2-Stroke Sea-Doo PWC forum. Any way to move it to the right forum?
