Well i have done alot of reading of pros and cons of the 155 and 215 boats.Went ahead and bought the supercharged since all service was done and rebuilt sc.The boat has only 119 hours and pretty clean with wake tower.So i hope with correct maintenance i wont regret a sc engine.:thumbsup:

Congrats.... I've had a 215 s/c for going on 10 years...Like you I take good care of her, and she's never once let me down....

No hour meter so only time I get an accurate read is when it is in the shop,(which isn't often as I do most stuff myself) but I have somewhere around 230. It had 12 hrs on when I bought it, I had shop replace ceramic washers at 50, rebuilt super charger just south of 200 (removed / reinstalled myself) I do my own annual maintenance. Starts on first tick, and runs like someone's chasing it BTW, Guy I bought it from in 06, pre-paid 3 year maintenance, so I took it to dealer till that expired, there was no charge for annual service but I noticed the invoice was $330.00 assumed the dealer was socking it to the factory, so I asked how much it would cost me when the pre-paid contract ran out, they said $330.... so I decided to do it myself, every year I order a Seadoo kit on EBAY, 3 plugs, oil, oil filter & gaskets around $70 delivered, and smile all the way to the bank

Yep i will be doing mine also.I have been a small engine mechanic for 33 years and have built hot rods for 25 .So i should be able to wrench this engine.How long does it take to r&r the supercharger?How much is it to rebuild that way?

Should take no more than an hour to remove the supercharger. Rebuild price is $435 from PWCMuscle. I just did my twin a few weeks back.

Well we went on the first voyage today.82 degrees,water temp 60 degress.It was a blast and very fast boat.It was awesome!
