I heard Seadoo is about to announce something. Do any of you have any info or theories? I'm praying for the "re-issue" of the 96XP myself haha.

i read an article somewhere the other day where the author was saying he's heard rumors of something with 300 hp. He also mentioned something about more of the upper line getting the composite hulls like the sparks and similar engines to the sparks.
Personally i wish they would make a 3 seater that didn't cost as much as a small car.

Ill bet sea-doo is going to knock kawis 310R off the podium as being the king of stock HP. I heard its going to be the rxp-x 315 or something. I highly doubt sea doo will increase the hp of the spark as that would hurt sales of their other base model gti 130s and 155s. I sure hope they don't increase the sparks hp. . . .I like to be able to do everything they can do, except better with my 96 xp, as I am not going to be able to afford a spark anytime soon lol.
If it is a compost hull like the Spark, I'll not buy one. Not at least for a few years where they can truly be tested and proven.

Well, just so happens, I am in harbor freight as we speak, and the purchasing rep from seadoo where I was yesterday is in here (I didn't know about this yesterday, so I didn't ask).. So, from what he knows, he will be going to the trade/reveal show next week (I think he said Tennessee?) and he told me from the speculation and buzz, it's actually going to be THREE new models...
1st one, like racer and Austrian mentioned, is a 315HP rxp-x model
2nd one will be like a GTI/GTX series but with something "new and special"
And lastly, the biggest one of speculation, he mentioned it will be something along the lines of a standup/hybrid? I asked if it was like a 3D and he said he couldn't elaborate any further..
So, interesting little nuggets.. But you guys pretty much nailed it!
I think that's why In the promo we saw the one guy 1UP (rxp-x) and the other 2UP couple on another ski (GT series)

I heard some chatter about Kawi(can't sleep sometimes). I guess they did their release by this time last year. The thought is they might bump there 300hp model to try and keep Seadoo from taking "the biggest" away.
