Hello all!
I suppose now that it runs again, I should make a proper introduction for myself and my Sea Doo. [emoji16]
My name is Jereme, or Jeremy if you prefer, and I have a 1994 Sea Doo XP with a short story. My father bought it new, and started tinkering with it shortly after. He cooked the first engine, put a new one in, rode for all of 10 hours, and locked up the jet pump, though he didn't know it at the time. That was in 1996. From then until 2010, it stayed in the back of his garage. I graduated from the marine technology program at WyoTech in 2010, and he offered it up to me when I got home. I had the jet pump rebuilt and was on my merry way. Now it's a few years older, and it still runs like a scalded dog, but it's got a couple of electrical issues. The VTS module is fried, and I have a problem with my tach and fuel gauge not working. I'm assuming that they have a common issue that I just haven't found yet.
So here I am, and here she is. I love it because of its sheer simplicity, so for as long as I can get parts for it, it will stay with me.
