Hi to all...
My name is Lou and I recently purchased a single engine 2012 Challenger 210. I have owned several different Sea Doo jet ski's and decided to purchase a boat so I could bring the wife and two daughters along. First off let me state I know it's a big boat for one engine but I didn't want the cost of maintaining 2 engines. I looked into the 180 but it was a little on the small side for me and the family as we wanted to bring friends also. Anyway long story short I took the boat out and was not impressed. I think there may be an issue with the prop or wear ring. Not sure as I'm not too mechanically inclined. I had a few issues already. The boat pulls left at higher speed and I have to keep the steering wheel almost all the way to the right to go straight. If I put the throttle all the way down I'm only getting 7,000 RPM's. I feel I should get minimally 8,000. If any one could let me know if they had the same issues on the single engine or some input on if I should be getting more RPM's. Also the top speed was only 34-35 mph. I believe it should do at least 44 mph. Thanks in advance on any help or comments.
