Helloooooo from Bellevue WA!

I just picked up a pair of Seadoos and a trailer for dirt cheap about a month ago. I bought a pair last year for $800 as well, and sold them at the beginning of winter (they needed more love than I was willing to give them). I played around all last summer on the 94', and was addicted. End of story.

I have currently:

1998 GSX Limited (951 motor)
and
1992 SP (581 motor)
They are in excellent shape! The 98' is almost like new inside and out, and the 92' is pretty darn close to the same. The trailer.... well it needs some attention cosmetically :)

I can't remember what I had last year, but it was the same motor as the SP but with the dual carbs and it was a 94', and the other was a 96' 720 or something and the motor blew about 100 yards from the dock first time out :/ no bueno.

I love to tinker, and that's what got me into the Seadoo/pwc stuff last year. The addiction of motorcycles has now invaded the PWC world... lets see how this works out :)

Took them out to Lake Sammamish for the first time yesterday (they haven't been on the water since 2012). The 92' runs well, but there is a really loud "BEEEEEEEEEEEEP" at idle that goes away when given throttle... I haven't looked into that yet.

The 98' runs perfect! Indicated top speed was 70mph yesterday... so yeah, I'm happy :) Really loud clanking noise though (no, not the two stroke sound)... seems to go away when given throttle as well. Metal-on-metalish kinda sound. I'll figure that one out in the next couple of days as well

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the pic up. The beep could be the over temp sensor. The rattle is the normal seadoo rattle and I'm assuming that is out of water when it makes that noise.

Yup, out of the water (well, mostly). Not a piston knock sound. Like a loose pieces of metal or something.

And as far as the beep, I'll go clean contacts and play with it some tonight. Makes sense.

What racer said: Put a derivative of your first post in a new post in the 2-stroke section. I got a couple thoughts on the 92SP but do not want to add here.
