Hi everyone:

I was thinking abt buying an RXP but saw the Speedster line of boats and really liked what I saw, but I have a couple questions though and hope you can help.

I'm thinking of an 04 or newer and am wondering about the performance of the 155 HP boat. Can I reasonably tow, is it enough power or will I get bored with it soon. I'm used to riding much smaller PWC's with at least that much HP so I'm wondering if I shouldn't consider the 215 HP model, but price is a factor.

I have a family of three total & that's 1 reason I like the boat and they look like great fun too , but I just want to make sure it will be enough pull to keep me interested. Also what about the maintenance and reliability of a boat like that, is it a lot work & expensive to keep running or more like a PWC.

We live in North San Diego County and will go in the Bay, ocean and lakes and rivers in Az, Ca & Utah. Any words of advice for me would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Welcome to the seadoo forum Hound Dog. If your looking for a used seadoo, I would look at what is available and get a test ride and decide if it is for you or not. I wouldn't want to buy anything I didn't get to test ride first anyway.
Look around and after you did get a test ride than decide.
