Needle and seat!

Hey out There! I have figured out that my 93 GTX needs needles and seats. So my question is: Can I just change the needle and seat without disturbing anything else? This machine runs really strong and I don't really want to mess it up. It's just hard to start after it warms up. Thanks....BRANT

Yes you can... but I would make sure you have OEM Mikuni diaphragms in the carbs too. The aftermarket diaphragms cause hard start issues.

The OEM Mikuni diaphragms have a red anodized nipple in the center.

That year of ski, with a hard starting situation, leads me to a RV clearance issue. SBT has an exchange program for them.

How do I know what needle and seat to order. 1.5...2.3??? I don't want to take it apart till I have the parts....The manual doesn't seem to have a spec for that....BRANT
