need help

I have a 2000 rx millennium edition. My problem is that right now is that my sea doo dies when it is in the water and reaches above 3500rmp but will run at that speed for 25 seconds or so and the faster I go the quicker it dies. Sometimes I can keep it running if I feel it start to die and release throttle to just an idle. Any idea of what this can be? I cleaned the carbs already, and this all started after I took the fuel baffle out to get it fixed. I did not test for air pressure; do I need to do that? Also I did not text the fuel pump, should I test that. My next step is that I am going to replace the lines. I would like to fix this problem myself if it is possible but I am just not sure what to do.
