Need help with Wsm piston rings.

I am rebuild the top end of 1999 GTX RFI 787, have just fitted 1mm oversize WSM pistons. I have put the bottom ring in with the lettering facing downwards. Does it matter. Should the lettering face one way or other. Do I need to pull the barrels off and turn the bottom ring over ? Also, does the base gasket go either way, does it matter, writing upwards or downwards?

The lettering faces upwards on the bottom ring, base gasket won’t matter

I am going to remove the barrels and turn the bottom ring the right way up.
