Need HELP with Speedometer Guage Wiring

Hi all, I purchased a speedometer replacement for my 2004 utopia 185. This gauge is from VDO part # 204470605 it's for challenger and speedster models but they say it also works with utopia.unfortunately the gauge did not come with a wiring/connector diagram for the back. Does anyone know the which wire goes with what connector in the back? I attached pics from my original and new speedometer. My orig has a blue, green, purple and two black wires. Any help on this is appreciated!

Thats odd yours is wired like that.
I have a 1800 and its plug and play with these gauges. The blue wire is gauge lights (hot) Black's are (ground) purple should be gauge power (hot) and green is (signal)

As for the VDO gauge
Top left "SHOULD" be power (hot),and the (ground) is next to it.
bottom row (signal) (Lights hot) (ground)

Keredjet95 I take it that the order for the bottom row is from left to right order? Bottom left connector starts with signal then in order.

Actually let me check on my boat because mine uses the same pins and wire colors but I forgot what order the bottom was!
