I have a 95 xp that I bought a new hood for and I am trying to transfer the guages but I cannot figure out how to get the guages out. I took basically everything apart on the hood that I could find except the rivets on the interior of the mirrors. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I saw the post for guage removal on a gtx but it looked like the set up was way different. Thanks, Joe

Anyone out there know??

They are pushed in from the front tru the rubber grommet. Usually you will
have to disassemble the pin connectors (draw diagram of each color orientation)
if you need to pull the wires tru hull. Then you can olm the wires and look at the
chart to see if they are bad. Your MPEM is specific to the skis hardware.
Some hoods separate, and are screwed together
with 5.5 MM screws.

You will have to separate the top half from the bottom to get at the nuts that hold the gauges in.

well if your not planning on reusing them you can take a screwdriver and pry the plastic nut off and remove them or try a small oil filter ban wrench

Does Seadoo have a tool available to remove the plastic nuts? I have the same situation with my 95 & 96 XP's. My hand is too big to get any grip on the nut and it's really frustrating.
I was thinking about trying one of those wrenches you use for kitchen sinks to tighten and loosen the faucets, but I think it's too thick. If nobody makes one and the sink tool is tool big, I guess I'll take the plasma cutter out and make the sink tool work.
