Need help finding where this hose goes

Hello everybody, i have a 1992 seadoo SPI

it looks just like this,

but i have this really long hose i found that is not connected to anything and i cannot figure out where it goes, heres a pic

It is the hose that connects to the yellow bung, its pretty much the main focus of the picture.

I was hoping you guys could help me out. Thanks in advance
 
I'm pretty sure that is the battery vent hose. It is not needed if you have a sealed battery.

you are probably right since its just about that length, but to paint a more accurate picture i threw this together in paint

There are two little purple vents on the back and that vent box is what that hose connects to
 
Yes... it's the battery vent. If you have a wet battery, it should be hooked to the fitting on the battery. That hose will keep the spilled acid out of the hull. If you have an AGM battery... you won't need it.
