I have a 09 255 150 and my buddy got a new 2012 260 150. they are dead even and i dont like it lol. anybody out there know how to get a little more without affecting reliability. thanks.

new Solas impeller, and a air intake should easily give you an extra 3+ miles

thanks for the reply, what exactly does the air intake do, is it colder air, because things pretty hot in that engine bay.

Yup, cold air intake, comes right off the intake and raises it up with a K&N washable type filter. Google 4TEC cold air intake systems.

my stock intake is a long tube off intake with a washable K&N filter on it already. hence my questions about the kit they sell. i will google it anyway thanks for now.

Wow...you got it like that from the dealer?? Must be new then...they didnt come with that in the past.

Maybe that's how they get 260 instead of 255?
