My Sea-Doo Spark

Hello all,

First I'd like to say hi as I am new to this forum and jet ski's although I have been a boater for years. So hello and thank you for having me. Now to the Spark, on Sunday January 26th I went to the boat show in CT and saw the Spark for the first time and instantly wanted one. The following tuesday I went to CT Power and Sports in Wallingford to take a look at the inventory they had. I ended up purchasing one that day. I ended up getting the black on black Spark 2 UP with the H.O engine and the dealer threw in the convenience package for free. With a trailer it came to about $7,500 out the door with a trailer. Im just waiting on the trailer so I can go pick it up. Once I get it I will be sure to post pictures. Now just have to wait for all this snow to go away so I can finally get out on the water!

Hi and welcome to the SeaDoo forum. And congratulations on your purchase.

The Spark, besides all the hype, is new to most of us, and we can only rely on opinions from people who own one. So your input if very valuable. I wouldn't think that your doing much riding in Conn. this time of year, but when spring arrives let us know your impressions of the new ski.

Lou,

I will be sure to keep this thread updated as I receive my purchase and go through it during the off season and post some pictures as well and will definitely be posting about my first experience in the water with it and how it feels. I also plan on installing the manual reverse myself to avoid labor costs and will let everyone know how it goes and any problems i run into.

Matt

Congrats on the purchase!

The word on the street is you arent alone...many non PWCers are instantly falling in love with it at the boat shows. The aftermarket parts have been popping up left and right so by next summer you should have every type of upgrade imaginable!

Welcome to the forum. Be sure to share some pictures with us once you get you ski!

Any questions guys just ask, it's summer in Australia currently and we've had access to them for some months now.. I've had mine about 4 weeks and have done around 10 hours on it, all in salt water..

Congrats on your purchase...

Many will be bought as the season breaks. I hope it gives you many years of trouble free use...

Finally picked the ski up the other night and immediately into the garage! Now just waiting on the manual reverse to come in so i can put that on myself, and of course wait for the warm weather to finally ride.

Not sure how I missed this! Congrats - I just picked mine up as well - your gonna love it, your garage looks like mine :)

By the way I read somewhere that you can just change the color panels! That's great, so next year if I'm sick of vanilla and want another color, just change the panels! Love it. Welcome again

Congrat s man. I just stopped in at New England Cycle this past weekend to check the spark out. Take that bad boy out to the river this year and enjoy the wakes

KartAnimal29, I was reading another post of yours and saw you ride down near Essex. Im sure I'll be seeing you on the water I am from Essex and have a house on the river in Chester. Keep an eye out this summer for this ski, ill be out there all the time!

Yeah my buddy keeps his boat at Portland Marina and I usually launch from there as we usually camp out there every weekend. Furthest south we go is Hamburg Cove but the wife doesn't like how rough it get's down there so we don't go that far all the time. But that's way but I like it, huge wakes

Oh I gotcha, yeah during the weekend essex is very busy with large boats going in and out of the cove, but on weekdays its relatively flat. We usually stay in the deep river or chester area. Sometimes venture up past the Hadam bridge.
